To make your exchange in a Fashionocracy store:
Bring your packing slip/invoice with the bar code attached along with the item to be exchanged to a Macy's location. Our Sales Associate will scan the bar code on your packing slip/invoice and complete the exchange.
Don’t have your packing slip/invoice?
We will gladly look up your purchase information with your Macy’s account number, Bank Card number or Registry. If we’re able to access your receipt, you will receive a refund to the original account, or a store credit.
If we can’t determine proof of purchase, we’ll give you a store credit for the item’s lowest selling price within the last 180 days.
To make your exchange via mail:
1. You can access your order by:
- Signing in to your account
- Look up your order by entering your order number in the "Have an order number?" section

- Once you begin entering your order number, a drop down will appear
- Verify if the return was a gift
- Enter the email address or phone number associated with the order
- Click the black "VIEW ORDER" button
2. On your order details page, select the red "order details" button to the right of the order you want to make the return from
3. For in-store returns, print this page and take it to a Macy's location near you
- For returns by mail, click the gray "return items" button in the verifying your address and additional information
4.Select the items you'd like to return, the quantity and reason for your return by checking the box to the left of the item
- The reason for return will be in a drop-down box to the right of the item
5. Select your refund method
6. Verify contact information
7. Enter your email address in the "Contact Information" field and click continue
8. Review the information and click the red "SUBMIT RETURN" button on the bottom right
9. Click the red "print mailing label" button to the right of the order number
10. After completing the return, place a new order for your replacement item at the current selling price.
